DCC Announces Measures to Assist Businesses Following Level 3 Restrictions in Dublin

Dublin City Council has announced that it will accommodate requests from restaurants, cafés and pubs serving food to utilise areas of the public domain under the control of the Council such as footpaths for the duration of the Level 3 restrictions.

These measures are subject to certain conditions, including requirements that businesses have sufficient public liability insurance and take full responsibility for the health and safety of their customers as well as the public.

Crucially, while applications do need to be completed and submitted, Dublin City Council are allowing this to be done retrospectively so that businesses may implement these measures immediately. Dublin City Council may request for arrangements to be amended in the interest of public safety.
